For those of you who are airline pilots I’d like to share a link to Sunshine Helicopters. I recently jumpseated on them in Lihue, Kauai while on a layover. It was a 45 minute tour of the island in a 6 place “A Star” turbine helicopter. It was fantastic, I highly recommend it. Just call ahead and check availability and they will list you and verify your airline has a reciprocal J/S agreement. They operate on all four islands and will allow you to bring a spouse, girlfriend, whatever, for half of normal fare (like $80). Totally cool experience, especially if you’ve done some R/C heli flying, a real eye opener.
